Container people. I have a few of these in my life. I'm truly lucky. I only wish they lived nearby. Their presence is something I miss on a daily basis.
While beautifully written, none of this really resonates with me. I don't feel real either, but perhaps not in the sense that is described here. These metaphors and descriptions seem like they would only be relevant if you've already experienced this first hand. Or maybe I'm just too cynical to appreciate the existence of "container people". Or perhaps the insistence on socialisation as the key to becoming rubs me the wrong way.
On a random Monday you’ve led the way for me to appreciate the people in my life who allow me to unfold and think about how I can attract more container people to me, while also growing to be that for others. An amazing read I loved it x

a wonderful turning on the head of the impulse to blame ourselves when we have "friction" when others, when we've lent ourselves to the wrong people. sometimes that relational disappointment what illuminates who we are & we're about in the first place.
