so true. the more you write publicly the more you discover about yourself and in doing so discover others who resonate with those deeper parts of your self.
you are a prime case in example of the magic serendipity of this blog helping me come across interesting people, was thinking of you as I wrote that part! appreciate you reading.
The phrase "we mention what we love" suggests a connection between what someone talks about and their affections. If someone frequently talks about a particular person or thing, it implies they hold it in high regard or love it. This idea is captured in quotes like "What we love, we mention". It implies that mentioning something often is a sign of love or fondness <3
This was great to read and very encouraging. I've been meaning to start a blog for years, but I've found writing to be so draining compared to just thinking fun thoughts by myself. I've also struggled to imagine my audience - I used to frame it as just writing for myself, but then I might as well just think my thoughts, scribble a few notes in my journal, and go about my day. Maybe imagining my best friends as my audience is the solution.
Fascinating to see some behind the scenes. I’m glad this gig is having transformative effects on you Maja. I can definitely relate to some! Others are new to me (definitely no bowling club readouts for me haha)
I feel this! Multiple times a day I read something or have an idea, and I think "I should write a blog post about this!" Being a writer gives new significance to things, and it makes it more exciting to be a collector of ideas.
Aw, love how I’m anonymised in the text but not in the photo headline GAHHAHA
hahah you deserved credit but also wanted anonymity for mysterious substack vibes ! so subtle ;)

exactly! one of the most magical experiences in life, the best kind of positive feedback loop <3
Good one. Keep at it.

There's beauty in expressivity. I didn't think meta commentary could be so poetically expressed as this
couldn’t love this more 🧚🏻♀️✨ a beautiful reminder to write purely as a means of living with authenticity & intention, if nothing else!
